Discover Your Truth and Transform Your Relationships

What do you truly want? Where are you holding back? What path aligns with your authentic self?

There’s a spiritual and energetic layer to this work, helping you cut through limiting beliefs. The goal is to guide you toward clarity and an authentic path forward—with your partner or on your own.

I invite you to take the first step…

Relationship coaching

Should you stay or should you go? Is this relationship right for me? Has your relationship met its end or is there still work to do? Are you recently single and trying to unpack your relationship history and heal for your next relationship? Relationships impact every part of our lives so it’s important that we heal ourselves in or outside of a relationship. I work with clients individually on relational conflict, disordered intimacy and attachment, sex and energy wellness, and personal recovery in and outside of a relationship.

BREAK-UP coaching

Break-Ups after one month, or a ten year relationship can impact us deeply, triggering old wounds and traumas, and kick up pain from our past. Sometimes it is difficult to know why we are so deeply impacted by a break-up even if the relationship itself was not particularly deep or long. I consider breakup and divorce coaching to be part of relationship coaching. Something must end often for a new relationship to grow. Whatever the context of your break-up, I will help you unpack your feelings, take proper steps toward healing, and pave the way for your next healthy relationship.

couples therapy

Blending a unique combination of mediation techniques combined with my training in narrative therapy, I work with couples to get clear on their own needs and desires, together and separately.

Sometimes this means working towards better communication, understanding past hurts and resentments, or uncovering unmet needs and desires. In couples sessions, we work collaboratively to develop a shared vision for the future.

Uncoupling & Mediation

Many couples attempt therapy when it is too late, or when they are unsure if they really want to stay together. While this may not be the prime time for reuniting in couples therapy, it is the right time to think about possibilities, understand implications, and reduce emotional conflicts while deciding next steps.

This may mean gaining clarity from one or both partners, establishing communication boundaries, and creating a space to share needs, desires, and fears about the future.

divorce coaching

As a divorce coach, my focus is primarily on well-being and emotional grounding, with a healthy discussion of legal rights, potential outcomes, and what actions may be in your best interest.

If you are still married and living with your spouse, we can discuss the emotional setbacks you are facing, establish a plan of action, and help you garner the strength and mobility to move forward through separation and divorce, and help you determine the best possible parenting agreements if you have children.

co-parenting Coaching

Separating with children or negotiating the terms of parenting after a break-up can be stressful and overwhelming for both parents and children. I offer both individual and couples coaching related to co-parenting or parallel parenting.

This service combines my experience as a family law attorney, but also as a therapist and co-parent, using the tools and strategies that have proven successful for myself and others.

relationship reading

One of my signature offerings is a relationship reading based on a short session. In this session we will quickly go over your current situation, conflict, and desired outcome or resolution. I will be able to quickly breakdown and assess the conflict, what is holding you back, and the work necessary to achieve the best possible solution or outcome for you.

This session is intended to give you clear next steps to help you move through or out of conflict and confusion in your relationship.

What are others saying?

“I discovered Kate's work via her podcast and was immediately intrigued by her therapy style! I've found narrative therapy to be a really helpful tool in my life, as I make peace with my past and gain clarity for the present and future. Kate has a really open therapy style and is an empathic listener. I found narrative therapy to be a really fresh and smart approach to self-development.”

Sarah, Coaching Client

“I’ve only been working with Kate for a few months, but I immediately felt connected to her, like I had somehow known her a long time. She is able to listen to a story, memory, or belief I have held for my whole life and gently and encouragingly allow me to take a step back and see it from a new angle. She is able to inquire, probe, and intervene with simple questions that crack things open, and I find myself over and over saying “I’ve never thought about it this way.”  That’s a real gift, and I am so grateful for it. Kate is helping me become the person who can ask myself these questions as well, a person who can question where my beliefs about myself and my life are born from and who and what they are shaped by. Our brief time together has already empowered me in my life, and I feel as though there are layers of myself being peeled away to reveal someone and something that looks like me.”

Cora, Coaching Client

“One session with Kate helped me shift my mindset by identifying areas within my control and accepting those outside of it. She introduced me to techniques for redirecting my energy toward my goals and introduced concepts like cord-cutting exercises. These tools have been incredibly helpful in restoring a sense of power and agency within myself. I’m happy to recommend Kate’s coaching and therapy to anyone looking to take positive and empowered steps forward”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I want all of my clients to feel confident that I am the right person to meet their needs. Prior to purchasing sessions, you can book a FREE 15-minute consultation with me by phone or Skype to help you decide if our collaboration is a suitable fit for us.

  • Each of our sessions will be exactly 60 minutes. This will give us time to explore any immediate concerns, delve into your personal narrative, and begin working towards identifying some of your personal goals, planning, and initiatives. You will never be cut short before this time, however all sessions will end at the 60-minute mark.

  • I work with clients internationally and am usually able to accommodate any time zone, however this could mean meeting earlier or later in the day depending on where you are located.

  • If you are located in Berlin, I work at Heart Mind Studio in Schöneberg and am happy to meet you individually or as a couple. I also work with clients all over the world, particularly in U.S., where I maintain an active presence. I do not believe that audio or video calls impact the quality of our work and have seen powerful and effective results with phone counseling. This can be an enticing alternative for those who don't have time for a commute, have small children at home, or with a busy work schedule. I am available to you and can provide you with this flexibility, and with some planning, even across multiple time zones.

  • After booking session packages, you may get a full refund within the first 14 days after purchase.

  • Unused sessions will expire one year from the last appointment.

  • Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours before schedule time.

  • Please note that my training is as a narrative therapist, lawyer, and coach. I am not a medical psychologist or psychiatrist and I will refer any client to outside resources if their needs are beyond the scope of my practice. My work is not in diagnosing or treating mental illness, rather at mediating and assessing relationships, as well as individual thinking, decisions and behaviors. I am fully competent in my abilities and process, however there are certainly issues beyond the scope of my practice.
